ABOUT US 

Foxtail Labradors is a small home based breeder.

We are located near Fort St John, British Columbia Canada and are passionate about our dogs. We love helping people find the perfect new addition for their families and enjoy a reputation as an ethical, kind, honest dog breeder. We take pride in breeding great temperament dogs and improving the breed. The health of our dogs is one of our top priorities.

 Our four kids play a big role in socializing and handling the puppies and exercising and training the big dogs.

We live on a large property for our dogs to run and swim.
We see our lab puppies go to active families, hunting, running buddies and service dogs.

Foxtail Labradors also has many repeat puppy buyers and we are proud to welcome them into the Foxtail family.
It gives us great joy when we hear how each pup fits so perfectly into adopted homes. 

The Labrador is loyal, obedient and playful. It was bred as a sporting and hunting dog but is widely kept as a companion dog. It may also be trained as a guide or assistance dog or for rescue or therapy work. Labradors are medium/large dogs. Standard weight is 55-80 pounds, 21.5-24.4" height. Their coat is short and dense with a thick otter tail. Labrador Retrievers have a muscular build and a broad head  with a kind expression. There are three colours of labs: solid black, yellow(varying from creamy white to fox red) and chocolate.
